Dear Seward Parents and Gaurdians,
Seward Montessori is pleased to announce its new partnership with Usborne Books & More! If you are not familiar with these wonderful books, starting this Spring, Seward will sponsor its first “READING IS A GIFT BOOK RAISER” during Spring Teacher/Parent conferences, February 12th. During this time you will have an opportunity to take a look at what Usborne is all about and purchase these fun, educational books for your children or your child’s classroom! Educational Consultant and Seward Parent, Ema Thoen, will be here to help you select books and answer questions during conference times.
BOOKS FOR YOUR KIDS
Usborne’s award winning children’s books are highly recommended by parents, educators and most importantly KIDS! The collection includes some 1800+ that support children’s literacy from birth through high school. Our teachers are working on their WISH LISTS for their classrooms and you have a few options to help raise books!

Make a cash donation to your child’s classroom and the teacher can use that donation to choose books

Purchase books at Seward during conference times.

Purchase books online – make SURE you choose the Seward Montessori event so the school receives credit for your purchase!
BOOKS FOR THE CLASSROOM
Books purchased by parents for the school will recieve a special ‘donated by’ commorative bookplate in honor of your donation!
For every purchase you make, Seward will receive up to 50% back in free books for the school! Our online eFair is now open! Please visit T4421.myubam.com where you can browse and purchase from the Usborne catalog online - now thru February 15th.
Click on Seward Montessori once you have entered the site. Your purchases here will equally benefit our classrooms so feel free to share the link with family and friends! You may choose to pay shipping (shipped directly to your home in 2-3 buisness days) or select free shipping and pick up your books at school.
Books ordered and shipped to school will be available for pickup in the classroom in two weeks.
